Hole 3 – The Picture

A short walk up from the 2nd green to the 3rd tee, the highest point on the course. The view from the 3rd tee box provides one of the best views on the course and the surrounding countryside.

Look west for a spectacular view of Plynlimon, the Van Hill and many of the other hills around Mid Wales. Turn around and a daunting tee short faces you. Internal out of bound posts attract your attention on the left, and a forest of Pine trees will block your second shot if you bail out to the right. Aim at the fairway bunker and hit it straight, this will leave you a wedge to a short iron into the green. Guarded by a  deep bunker on the right, the shallow green requires an accurate approach to the heart of the green. Short on your approach, your ball will run back towards you and leave a tricky third. 

End up past the hole and your troubles aren't over, a quick putt back down the hill will test the best of putters.
