St. Idloes boast a thriving junior section which are encouraged by all sections of the club
Thursday Evening - Junior Coaching (April to July)
Juniors are coached in various age groups on a Thursday evening between 4.00 Pm and 6.00 PM. The younger age group mainly use the practice area and 6 hole mini course, where as the older age group are let loose on the course under the supervision of the Junior Organiser and a number of volunteers.
Although St. Idloes does not have a resident professional, the mid wales golf academy provide coaching sessions for juniors on a Thursday evening
Saturday Morning - Junior Golf
Junior Golfers have priority and are encouraged to play on Saturday Mornings.
Junior Competitions
A junior open is held annually in September, and a wee wonders flag competition takes place during the May half term
St Idloes Golf Club Junior Section is a welcoming and safe place for all juniors to come and learn, develop skills and play golf.
