Message from the Chairperson

Dear Member,
I hope you and your families are all keeping well and safe in these
very difficult times. I hope with the rollout of vaccines etc there is
light at the end of the tunnel and we will be able to get back to some
normality soon.
Work on the course has been carried on throughout lockdown by Warrick,
so the course will be in great condition for when we get back to
playing golf.
We, as a committee, have been having zoom meetings organised by
Martin. to make sure the club is still running smoothly for you the
members. We have some exciting plans ahead for the course. putting in
some new features which will hugely help with the drainage. Then we
can play without soaking fairways in the winter which will a succinct
benefit for the club  Tom Goodman has put in a great amount of time
and effort to try and secure financial support for this project. As
soon as we know the outcome of the grant, I will give you more detail
on the project. The refurbishment of The Clubhouse is almost complete,
just waiting for new flooring to be laid.
As a committee, we are dedicated to making St Idloes the best we can
for you the members.
I look forward to seeing you all back at St Idloes soon.
Kind Regards
Jonathan
