Lucy Hurst a St Idloes Golf Club Junior Member has had a 2025 to remember.

 

Lucy has had a number of notable achievements this year, which include winning the Girl's County Championship at Builth Wells Golf Club in April. Earning her first Senior Team County Selection, playing games against Denbighshire and Flintshire at Wrexham, and against Caernarfon and Anglesey at Builth Wells.

 

Lucy's performances in the Wales Golf Ping Tour events resulted in Lucy winning the lowest gross score in 3 out of the 4 events. These results earnt her a place in the coveted season's Tour Final at Carmarthen Golf Club at the end of September.

 

Lucy then caught the eye at a National level and earned herself a call up to the Wales Golf Aspire Development squad. Lucy was selected as one of the best 6 School girl golfers in Wales to take on England at Newport at the end of August.

 

Lucy continues to get better and better and we hope that there are many more International caps to follow for Lucy. We at St Idloes Golf Club are all very proud of what you have achieved to date Lucy, we hope that 2026 and the years to come continue to be successful. You'll always have a place up at St Idloes.
